by Sara O’Brien

A woman visits a coastal town in order to research another woman, the 19th century mathematician, astronomer and polymath Mary Somerville. She is particularly taken by Somerville’s prediction of the existence of the planet Neptune based on its perturbations of the nearby planet Uranus. She does not know, yet, what it is she has come to know. published by The Yellow Paper Press 2022
